Router Switch WGR614 v7

I have an oldish router, now I have a room full of tech and only one networking cable outlet in the room and 4 tech pieces that are hungry for hard wire.

Heard that it is possible to make a router into a switch but I am clueless as to how to go about it.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Matthew

To turn a router into a switch disable dhcp and stop using the Wan port (tape over it). Also it's better to disable the firewall and upnp as they can get in the way.
