lambs for killing how much ration??

    hello i bought 30 lambs, well there between 40kg to 42kg. just got them for the grass for a good cleanout. all is going well with them so far. how much per head per day should they be getting in order to have them killed for xmas or just afer. i be killing them round 46kg id say

    dont be giving them anything. if they are on land that had no sheep all year they will be fine without anything if they are eating green grass, they should put on over a 1kg a week on grass alone. Put them in about 3 weeks before you intend to sell and if they are not putting on weight i would then consider introducing meal at about 1kg per day per head IMO

    have to agree with razor8. let them grow on grass and give them a bit of feeding for about 2 or 3 weeks before you sell them if you feel they need it( by handling).if you are selling live that extra touch will stand to them
