    Seriousally???
Still no sign of the Keypad & GSM..
They have been put back since April with promises almost every month.
I would be surprised if we see them before next year never mind an IP panel.

Thats the problem, they're too busy between here and the uk to bring new products to the market, the uk are looking for grade 3 panels etc and we're looking for ip panels etc

I couldn't agree more. There really are playing catch up. Hard to believe it's nearly 2 years and we're still waiting on the basic things we were promised at Isec.
I really hope this IP panel lives up to the promises, but going on the past.......

There are plenty of people who may not be registered who read boards as well.

Thanks for posting this, I've been waiting for them to come out for awhile.

Will there be a new model number or will it still be the 1070.

Also when you buy one of these panels new, is the engineers code set to a default number?

    Thanks...

Yes, it will be set as default, 04567.
The new panel model number will be available when the suppliers have it in stock.

Dying to get my panel upgraded and ready for the IP :-

Santy won't have it on his list this year I'm afraid. I am very skeptical as to whether this will have the features of the Siemens. It seems they are more interested in another form of monitoring and upload/download.
    All very vague TBH.

I know but it can be connected to a monitoring station via IP .. The app will be released in the new year ;) the wireless keypad is amazing ! The speed of it

Have to agree, the speed of the communications with the panel was as fast as a wired keypad. It can be used on the batteries or it can be supplied0 with a 12V supply.

Anyone have any videos or pictures of the gear ? :-)

Is the 12v supplied through a base or is it hard wired into it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,888 ✭✭✭✭altor

It can be hard wired into the keypad from a local supply..

What's the battery life like on it ? I'd say the blue LEDs won't help. Anyone ideas on the price of the keypad and add ons ?

Also meant to say about the release of the new slimline sensor, It is about as tick as the old sensor head on its side. Dont have a picture. Plus the astec head will be used in the sensors.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,250 ✭✭✭Thunderbird2

Is that for the RF ones too ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,888 ✭✭✭✭altor

Is that for the RF ones too ?

That is correct re the sensor head, even talk of smaller sensors for the RF detectors.

Yes. Nice and compact. Easy to wire plus changeable heads.
