Kerplunc Tekkit Server

Hi guys me and a friend of mine have a server each that we rented from kerplunc. WE read some very positive reviews on them and thought that they would be a good choice for a server. But every time we play we get horrible server lag where the ping jumps around like crazy going from 100ms up to like 2000ms. We are in no way computer smart so we have no idea if it is a problem on our end or is it just the server provider any help would be greatly appreciated because it is making the game nearly impossible to play

Try pinging the server URL in command line, if the ping is very high there, then it could be an issue.

Also how much RAM is allocated to the server, 1GB is the absolute minimum for a tekkit server (IMO)

Is the lag localised, as in if you walked to another area the lag stops.

we just cancelled and were getting a refund back going to go with daddy cheese thanks though guys

You will always have a certain amount of lag with tekkit because of the nature of it. server logs get full very fast. electricity creates a constant demand on some chunks. stuff like that.
