Hi guys, I applied for a christmas temp job in a fairly upmarket company this month. I got a call for an interview last week asking me to be interviewed the next day. That day was the only day I couldnt make an interview, I had an important commitment that evening I couldnt cancel. so I explained that and said any other day would be perfect. The manager seemed grand and about it, said she would like to interview me and that she was off this week but would have a colleague call me monday, anyway fast forward to monday and nothing so far.

Dont know whether to call or not, because she specifically said she would get in touch!! Disappointed anyway as Ive tried to get christmas work everywhere. But unfortunately that day was a no go! I wonder did she just say she would be in touch to be polite. But I did state I was available and very interested.

No harm in making a friendly call. Manager may be busy, or simply forgot...

    Good luck! :)
