Folks, small bit of advice. Im trying to size a stove. I will have at least 3metres of single wall flu pipe in the room rising from the stove before it hits the insulated part. Should I bear this mind when sizing the output of a stove? How much heat would 3 metres give out approx? Using the online calculators they say I should need about 6.5KW Stove. If I got something smaller like a 5KW would the flue make up for the rest?
    Thanks in advance...

The flue gives out 1kw in the first metre and drops off after that.I wouldn't count the flue.what height is your ceiling and how are you using 3mtrs single wall flue
