Magic Launcher & "transparent world" glitch

    Hi all,

I've installed Magic Launcher but keep getting the "transparent world" glitch. This happens even if I use the default texture pack. I definitely have Java 64-bit installed. I've tried using normal textures, and bumping up used memory to 2048MB. Can someone recommend the memory settings I should used, based on my specs below?

    Intel Core i5-2500K, LGA1155
    8GB-Kit (2 x 4GB) G.Skill RipJaws-X PC3-12800U CL9
    Palit GTX 560Ti 1GB PCI-E graphics card

    Thanks,

    P.

Do you by any chance have optifine installed? This is the only thing i can think of that causes this

Cheers; I did figure it out. It was indeed running Optifine by default. The Ultra version of this requires you to change some graphic card settings (related to thread optimisation). Rather than do that, I download the "normal" HD version since all I wanted was just to install high-definition BDCraft textures.
