ebay query and best offer?

I am not a person that frequents ebay much, I've bought the odd thing.
I tried to find an answer to my question on ebay but couldnt locate.

I am wondering if something is up for auction but also has a buy it now price (which seems like the minimum price wanted),

If its priced at say 50 euro and hypothetically I offer 1 euro, does that mean its mine if bid in the last minute and no one else tops my bid?

If I bid on the item and it is less than the price shown, does that mean I win the right to purchase/take the item at the price I offer if no one else tops my bid?

Or can the seller then withdraw the item?

Once you place your bid, the sellers 'Buy it Now' price is removed.

Not sure about that. Only some items are both 'buy it now' and 'bid now.'
If the seller has entered a reserve price that will pop up if the bid is too low.
Nobody is going to sell goods for silly money.

If they have a reserve you will see Reserve not Met till bidding reaches that reserve price.

There was and still is a "buy it now" button in blue and the price still beside it and "make an offer" (now that is "review offer")
but not "place bid" like some items.
The buy it now price is still there and nothing about not reaching a reserve.

It is not an auction then, it is a Buy it now listing with an option of best offer. Essentially it means the seller has £x or nearest offer. They are considering your offer
