Thinking of travelling to Berlin for Paddy's Day weekend

Was last in Berlin just after the wall fell down so been a long time. Was looking at places to stay. Had a look at the Park Inn as this seems to be smack in the middle of the city and easily accessible to the airport.

Anyone got any good hotel recommendations and a good pub to go on St Patrick's day itself?

    Cheers

ever think of Munich instead for this particular weekend?

It has the biggest paddies parade in Europe outside of Ireland which goes down the main thoroughfare of the city and ends up in an all day Paddies Party downtown.

I had friends over one year for it and they had so much craic that the 6 of them missed their flight back!

I'd go for one of the larger rooms in Michel Berger Hotel.

I stayed there. It's right outside a u bahn station. I'd deffo go for the loft room if you can afford to bit extra. There's a bar downstairs that gets busy enough in the evenings and it's walking distance from Kreuzberg where there's decent nightlight.

Was recommended the Motel One or the NH hotel as central

Any other good ones out there?
