ELO / Glicko Ranking software

    Hi All

    Im wondering if any of you know of any good free ranking software (preferebly for mac)? Im looking to track tournament date from a local club and do up rankings. Its not chess but a similar style game

    Hi Ciaran,

    I would recommend Vega to run tournaments and it will calculate everybody's rating changes after each tournament. I am guessing everybody wont have a rank or rating to start so I would advise that you assign everybody's rating to 1200 or 1600 at the start and give everybody a high K factor of 100 or so for the first few tournaments as that should give you an accurate idea of everybody's strength/rating and move the k factor of each player down to 24 after everybody has played a few tournaments. The majority of chess tournaments are run using a program called swiss perfect but you have to pay for that....
