Crazy Restrictions on Those Receiving Social Welfare

In keeping in line with some peoples way of thinking, what restrictions would you put on the decent folk of the dole?

My input: Pedometer on hand to detect excess wánking during the day when we should be out looking for jobs

If you go anywhere on your travel pass eg. to the shops, you have to ask all the taxpayers in the area do they want anything from the shop

Ps. Im on the disability myself due to unfortunate circumstances

I think the restrictions on their income and other people's perception of them is sufficient.

They should get most of their social welfare through food stamps, rent/bills paid, bus/train tickets and only a very small amount in cash to spend how they choose.

    They shouldn't be allowed reproduce.

Let's just do this logically: if you're not Irish, you don't get money.
If you're not Irish enough but are still in Ireland, you get sent to a workcamp to work for your dole.
If you're not fit enough to be in a work camp, you get used as a food for the horses dragging the carts.

    I think that's a nice start.

What is this reproduce you speak of and where do they get it?

They should be made fight for their money in a Colosseum

I'm in one of those humours, so pay no attention.

I would try and come up some sort of system where you would lose a portion of your welfare if it was spent on smokes.

Na, they can own all the golf clubs and motor vehicles they want.

But recipients of social welfare should be required by law to use public transport.

Wait, what? I thought this was serious. I have a few non-Irish rounded up to get kicked out of the country when the new rules come in. :o

Yes, they should lose around €9 every time they buy a pack. The government should get about 80% of that, with the rest of the cost going to the shops and manufacturers that provide this "system".

Not allowing them to apply for any jobs. Now that would be a crazy restriction for someone on social welfare.

They should be made to valet the cars of those work.

Every able bodied man who wishes to recieve social welfare should present themselves alphabetically at Linster Haus once a year and ride the hole off Joan Burton on the plinth while Michael Noonan provides a golden shower to prove their dedication to austerity.

Everyone on the dole should take turns at being a TD (with the associated wages/expense allowances). 60% of dail seats should be for the unemployed, and everyone has to serve a week at a time.
