    Hey everyone,
I suffer from depression and anxiety and I have never felt lower. I'm afraid to talk to my parents and friends. I'm a 22 year old male and I am afraid to talk to anyone. I don't know who to go to! I'm crying every few minutes! I haven't eaten all day because I am so anxious. I feel so trapped. I am so unhappy with myself!

Firstly - you really should speak to your parents. They absolutely would want to help you and wouldn't wa t you to go through this feeling alone.
By the way - have you ever told then you suffer from depression? Or you mean you just haven't told them about this bout of it?
Either way you should speak to them straight away. You really should for your own sake. You clearly want to tell someone given you are posting here.
And if you don't feel comfortable telling your patents you should tell a true d or anyone else instead.

Secondly - you should go to a gp tomorrow and get some anti dnxiety tablets. If you haven't already fine do then I'm sure the gp will know the next steps to take.

I have family members who feel the same way you do right now and things did improve for them and will improve for you too.

You poor thing. It's important that you talk to someone so if you feel unable to talk to friends or family then you should phone the Samaritans this evening and talk to them about how you are feeling.

I also agree to go to your GP in the morning, they may be able to up your meds and advise you on how best to start feeling better. You're not alone and it's important to talk about it.

    Hey there OP,

I'm locking this thread as it's clear from the past threads you've started in PI that you have a number of issues that you need to deal with - and despite many responses to numerous threads there seems to very little progression in terms of resolving those issues.

PI is a useful resource, but it is only useful to a point - pertinent or well-intentioned advice from strangers is no substitute for professional help and in some cases we must direct posters to help in the real world.

I urge you to see your GP so they can put you in contact with counsellors or therapists who can help you on the road to recovery and would ask you not to repost in PI and instead get yourself the real world help you deserve to get.

    All the very best.
