Hi I am a qualified Electrician and looking into working abroad but because I have 2 young kids I'm looking to commute every weekend or more realistic every month does any sparks have expierance in working abroad and commuting? I don't care where I work once the money was average and I could get home once in a while.

One small piece of advice, if you are going to work in the EU get a European Health Insurance card, it entitles you to medical care the same as residents of the EU country you are working in.

Hi Thomas I didn't end up going abroad to work I stuck it out here and just kept knocking on door handing out CV's and luckily enought I got a start in a job that I was after for a few years, things seem to be picking up so hopefully you get a job closer to home best of luck
