Clarion in receivership? (Ocean FM)

    Anyone know the story on this?

    Just before 10am today I read on the Ocean FM website that The Clarion Sligo had gone into receivership, but that all bookings and deposits were safe etc.

    So I listened to Ocean FM news at 10am, not mentioned.

    Went back to website, news item gone. :confused:

    wow didn't see that coming. am a member of the leisure centre and it seems like a busy place. maybe its other interests of the group that have it in trouble?

    Wow I go there for classes once a week and the place is always wedged, really difficult to get parking on weekday nights. The bar and restaurant are always packed and there seems to be a large flow of guests. Excuse to get NAMA money perhaps?

    Really? Blimey we are members of the gym there. Really nice staff and a great place.

    Pity, hope things work out ok for them, it's a fine hotel nice staff etc.
