How long will Prescription last?

    Hoping someone can help me. Got prescription over 4 months ago which i never used and wondering can i use it now as dont want to pay £50 for GP visit again.

    They will give you the drugs, but they will be the same age as the prescription (i.e. four months old). Take them and report back here with the results.

    Pretty sure they're valid for six months.

    Can't give you medical advice but I got a prescription for antibiotics before and didn't use them for a year or so. I just checked to make sure the tablets were not out of date and used them later.

    In Ireland they're valid for 6 months.

    Prescription paper has a lifespan of 89 months if stored correctly.
