Repair Iphone 3G

My iphone went dead couple of weeks ago and it wasn't dropped in water or anything else, won't power on at all. Gave it into a place in Ballymount Dublin 12 and they said they couldn't revive it the board or someting gone. Does anyone know any good place that just might be able to repair as it has alot of photo's etc on it…
