    Hi everyone!

We all have our own memories of Sunday Best; the clothes we loved..and the clothes our mothers forced us into so we looked respectable for Mass and those around us! I am currently researching and collecting people's memories of Sunday Best and what it meant to them for my thesis. As a child of the 90's, my memories of Sunday Best are limited. But this was a huge cultural trend in Ireland, particularly in the 1950's/60's. I'm calling out to anyone who wants to share their memories, male or female, child or adult memories, from any era. It is such an important part of this country's dress history and very little is written on it. Your contribution would really be appreciated!!

    Thanks :)
