    Hey,

Does anyone know what the advice is in relation to the flu vaccine for people with Ulcerative Colitis?

I am not currently on any immunosuppressant medication.

    Thanks

I have Ulcerative Colitis and have been recommended by both my GP and my Gastroenterologist to have the flu vaccine - so I get it every year! Tend to feel like death warmed up the next day, and do also get a flu each year, but I really don't want to risk not getting it as my GP said that even if I were to get the "current" strains of flu that I would be far less hit if I had the vaccine than if I haven't.
