    Hi,
I submitted my application on line and received letter today requesting a list of documents to bring to interview, including 2 x passport photos and JCPB form. I am wondering what the photos are for? I though maybe PSC but the website says they take the photo at the social welfare office. I have searched to find out what a JCPB form is and I cannot find it anywhere. I phoned SW but no reply. Can anyone throw some light on this for me. Thank you

I guess i will find out at interview in a few weeks. Its seems very strange that the form is not available anywhere. If any one can give advice in the mean time I would appreciate it, thanks

There's a new thing now. Your PPS card is gonna have a photo on it or something. I got mine done a while back. I imagine it's for that. Meant to clamp down on fraud I think.

When you are applying for jobseekers benefit you need to have 2 x photo id e.g. passport and drivers license and also proof of address e.g. recent utility bill with your name on it or a tenancy agreement. I dont know what a JCPB form is... perhaps they want you to have the following form completed its on the right hand side of link provided under application forms. You could reply to them and ask what JCPB form is.

Ok, so I managed to get though to SW, and the kind lady I was speaking to sent me out a JCPB (Jobseekers Claim Part B) form in the post. This form is an exact replica of the questions in part six of the original UP1 form, which I have already sent in.... Also, I discovered that the social welfare office in question issue photo ID for all claimants, hence 2 x photos required. All very confusing altogether... Thank you every one for your replies.

Yep the photos are for the new social security cards. Make sure you bring proof of address as well as your passport or drivers license. If you dont have proof of address they'll send you away. Any utility bill will do.

Any idea what to do if I don't have any utility bills? My address is on the bank statements I'm giving them. Would that be enough?

That should be grand. They just need proof that you live at the address that you say you do, really.
