ROS Debit Instruction (RDI)

    Hi,

    Does anyone know how long it takes to set these up? I remember that setting up access to ROS itself involved waiting for 2 separate snail-mail letters. Along with ROS access I set up an RDI from my current account but I have just realized that during the year the Laser Card associated with this account was changed for a Visa Debit card. Will this mean that I will need to set up a new RDI ? If so, is this a time consuming process or can it be done before the 15th ? Is there any way I can check if the existing RDI is still valid without having to complete and upload my entire return ?

    An RDI goes through immediately - I can set one up for a client and pay & file their tax return a minute later.

    As you already have one set up you simply need to click on the amend RDI button and put in the new details - again this will be instant.
