Ford Focus 07 Headlights

    i have had to replace headlight bulbs 4 times in last 3 months. its been a problem since i bought the car in 07.
    any advice on 1) why they are blowing so frequently 2) the best bulbs to buy.
    any time i mention it to mechanic they just replace the bulbs and advise there is no reason for this fault

    Get the alternator voltage regulator checked.

    The mk2 Focus has an odd charging circuit

    Go to any ford dealer and tell them your problem there is a modification that can be done on your lamps if they dont know about it say you were told there is s TSB on the problem.

    yes they are black when i take them out
