In the last week Ive been getting disconnects from PP online,
Laptop, wifi, no antivirus or malware running. (I work in IT so know how to kill stuff when I want). windows 7.

To prove to myself it was the PP software that was causing it, opened dos and I set up a "ping -t www.google.com" which does a continuous ping to google, if theres any delay on my lapper to web, I'll see it there. had it running a good 20 minutes, no timeouts or lengthy ping times, browsing away, youtube, boards, nothing affected. so cranked up PP software and opened a game. within 10 seconds I started getting disconnects, not just from PP but internet

    google IP is 74.125.24.105
my LAN lapper IP is 192.168.1.3

Ive got 20 minutes of good 20-60ms replys from google, then the following is from a few seconds after starting PP. The timeouts correspond with timeouts from PP in the software.
    Reply from 74.125.24.105: bytes=32 time=55ms TTL=49
    Reply from 74.125.24.105: bytes=32 time=54ms TTL=49
    Request timed out.

Theres more like that, might last 60 seconds, might last 10 seconds, PP reconnects itself again. I stopped the PP software and immediately the pings went back to being constant again.

    anyone any ideas?

edit: seems to be ok now, but Ive left pings running in the back, if I get knocked off again I'll note behaviour. event logs showed nothing for earlier disconnets.

PP is apart of the iPoker network which has been struggling with updates over the past few months. Disaster zone really

Loads of people are getting disconnects and other stuff and yet they can't fix it

yep ipoker sucks, constant problems with ppp, which they never aknowledge is there fault, but on the plus side the site is full of tards
