    Hey,

    My sister accidentally reversed into a 1995 Toyota Corolla this morning, no damage to her car but the front plastic bumper was dented over the guys wheel and was rubbing off the tyre. Any ideas if this is a big job to fix? I can't imagine it being too much surely?

    Thanks for your help

    Here ya go;

    http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Toyota-Corolla-2004-2007-Front-Bumper-Not-Primed-/261117862329?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3ccbd661b9#ht_1360wt_904

    'course you'll have to have it painted.

    EDIT;The OP changed the year in the original post from 2005 to 1995, so ignore this post!

    price of the bumper might be more than the car is worth !

    Did the vintage of that Corolla just change there?

    If he doesn't know the price then he doesn't have the skill to fit. Plus no one in their right mind would accept the OP fitting a bumper to their car. Especially since it was a third party car that needs the bumper.

    What does one's knowledge of the price of a part got to do with one's ability to fit that part?:confused:

    Fair enough, but I think this is a giveaway:

    A brand new bumper would look out of place on the car too.

    Thanks all. Didn't really realise what a piece of sh1t car it was. Will be interesting to see what price he comes back with for the repairs. Will let ye know.

    €400-€500 he said it will cost to replace bumper and panel beating! Theres no panel to beat, the tow-bar hit the plastic bumper. Absolute joke! The car isnt even worth that much! Garage trying to make a quick buck. Any ideas what best route to take!?

    You're not in the best position, the other guy is entitled to get a proper repair done, there may be damage you haven't seen underneath. Just because the car is old doesn't mean they're less entitled to have it sorted properly.
