    The Aldi Super 6 for 2 weeks from 4th November, all 59c

    Lemons - 4 pack
    Turnip - Each
    Kiwi - 6 pack
    Potatoes (Salad) - 1Kg
    Mushrooms - 250g
    Carrot and Parsnip - 500g Tray


    Over at Tesco, for 2 weeks from 5th November, all 59c

    Lemons - 3 pack
    Cucumber - Each
    Carrots - 600g
    Avocado - Medium
    Leek - Each
    Potatoes (Mini Rooster) - 1Kg


    At SuperValu, until 10th November, 3 for €2 or 67c each

    Carrots - 800g
    Oranges (Easy Peelers) - 650g
    Pineapple - Each
    Pears - 750g, approx 7
    Swede - Each
    Mushrooms (Large, Breakfast) - 300g


    At Lidl for 1 week from 5th November
    Cucumber - Each, for 39c
    Courgette - 2 pack, for 59c
    Lemons - 3 pack, for 49c
    Oranges (Clementines) - 1Kg, for 69c

    Good to see offers at Dunnes, but these are only until 7th November, all 59c

    Cabbage (York) - Each
    Melon (Galia) - Each
    Mango - Each
    Potatoes (Mini Rooster) - 1Kg


    Good variety all round with a good mix of fruit and veg. Enjoy

    I searched for the Super 6 at Aldi's this morning (so I can complete my shopping list). Thanks a million!

    BTW, Lidl got some great "kitchen gadgets" (mixer, storage containers, induction hob, potato chipper, toaster, etc.), clothes, toys and great food offers like:

    - LYONS Original 2 (80 pack) for €5
    - Fresh Mackerel Fillets (300g), 2 for €5

    coming up during the week of 5th - 11th of November.

    Hiya, according to the current supervalu flipbook, on page 2 they show the mushrooms as part of 3 for €2 as being flat mushrooms.

    Thanks Snubbleste. Updated the list.

    Lidl offers pretty good in fairness.

    Try courgette fritters or slivers of courgette flash fried in garlic butter.
    1Kg of clementines! Kids will be in their element. Snacks when grazing plus lunchbox fillers.
    Cucumber for the salads obviously.
    Lemons are the treat. Lemon zest in fairy cakes, home made lemonade, lemon juice on pancakes and fish. Homemade dressing with lemon, olive oil and then whatever you want (soy, chili, herbs, etc) which will keep for a month in the fridge.

    The list above for all the supermarkets is endless in what you can do. From that list alone I see all our lunches, dinners, deserts and treats for the next 2 weeks. Yes we will add meats and breads but pretty much everything is there. Look at what GalwayGuy is doing and you will see the possibilities are endless with cheap and fresh produce.
