    Hi,

Anyone know if it's possible to reduce the quality of the recording to usb?

Recording 3 hours is taking up 3GB memory.

Can't see anything in settings or online on how to change this.

    Thanks

The box only records the raw transport stream which are high quality broadcast recordings.

However, if you want to archive it (or keep it) you will have to reencode it to make a smaller version.

Example reencode it to an MKV with Format factory software (free).

You can then replay it by sticking it on your usb drive and playing it under videos in the media menu. At this stage you can delete your original version, hence freeing up space.
