A friend of mine is having a problem with the rte player and bbc iplayer on his ipad.

Neither would start (nor show up in the search page!) - they were showing under the usage" setting as being installed so we deleted them there.

Now when trying to redownload them from the App store they are sort of greyed out and cant be downloaded.

    Any suggestions for a remedy?

Just checked an iPhone 5 and iPad (3rd gen) and both work and are showing as available. Curious problem. Are you signed into the Irish App Store? Maybe if you set your account to the US Apple are now blocking it because of that?? Just an idea.
