Problems trying to format 500gb external hdd to fat32

    I deleted everything off my maxtor 500gb hdd because I wanted to format it to fat32. I was using HP usb disk storage format tool to format it. It didnt work too well and now when I connect the Hdd to laptop it is asking to be formatted. When I open HP usb disk storage format tool this is what it now looks like. F drive. {Picture attached.} How do I allocate the 433 gb back to f drive.
    Any help would be great, thanks.
