    Hi guys,

Really enjoyed the amount of plays both teams got to get off in the first few weeks before the accelerated clock bug was fix. With the accelerated clock now back working can we extend the games?

Given some folks time constraint objections would be understandable!

Would be in favour of an extra 1 min anyway

I don't like accelerated clock at all...

I'm a fan of the accelerated clock. It's especially handy when a player is running down the clock in the 4th, that way no one is waiting all day for the game to end if you're a few scores up/down.

I'd be in favour of an increase but not halfway through the season, for the start of the next season then if the majority were up for it I'd be all for it.

To be clear I'm suggesting we keep accelerated clock but make it an extra minute or two per quarter.

I agree we should increase it back to 7 min qrts with acc clock

With the clock run off I'd be for 8 min qtrs. Think it would probably equate to an extra series per half possibly more depending on pass vs run and qb accuracy stopping the clock.

yeah i found that my last game absolutely flew by. I definitely think 8 or 9 minutes with accelerated clock would be ideal. Also don't see why it can't be changed this season, it would have more benefit than it would cause disruption I think.

Oh, I thought the minutes had been increased when the clock came back. I never even realised they hadn't :pac: Definitely I'd be on for increasing the minutes to the usual 8 (I think) then.

I agree also, back to eight.

8 I think Ben, but with the acc clock it feels shorter because or the acc bug at the start!

The way you're all talking it made me think we'd been playing 6 minutes with accelerated clock.

    Just to clarify,

It is currently 8 minutes a quarter with 20 second accelerated clock.
It was 6 minutes with no accelerated clock due to the bug.

So what are people's thoughts on it? Any suggestions wouldn't be changed until the new season, as it would be unfair on some teams. The clocks will change to 10 minutes for the play offs though.

i'd try 10 with the acc. game feels really short, especially if you down by 2 scores and cant use the hurry up taking 20-25 seconds off the clock every play.

10 would be a good balance between running off the clock when winning and giving teams who are behind a chance.

Can vote on it at end of this season I suppose.

I prefer 10 as it allows you to stick to your gameplan if you fall behind early.

Berty I'd agree with your statement my only issue is fitting in all these longer games :D

I would be the same as Heli. Could I suggest that the games this year seem to be shorter due to more completed passes?

I dunno about others but I find passing easier in this game, so the clock keeps ticking.

If we make the regular season 10 how long will the play offs be?

10mins.. no difference in post season time .. If we make all games 10 mins, but we shouldnt implement it till next season ?

Games do feel really really short at the moment. Could just increase it to 9 for now.
