    have 2 chokes in my shotgun i know 1 is full and 1 is half choke i took them out to clean them and mixed them up how do i tell them apart

    never shoot a choked gun with the chokes out you will wreck the threads i shoot with 3/4 int the first barrell and full in the second barrell , the same for clays improved modified in the top barrell and full in the bottom , when ducks get off a river 30 yards in front of you you dont want a skeet choke .......and if he gets up under your feet let him out

    not all chokes are marked the same way. just run your finger inside the choke and youl notice 1 is tighter than the other. the tightest is your full and should go in the top barrel. generally, shoot bottom barel first. much less muzzle flip from the bottom barrel so you can get on your 2nd shot quicker. never shoot with chokes out
