Receipt (probably yes - I could dig it up), warranty, no - although if it stops working/doesn't work when you get it I'll sort it out.

My old one stopped working after 3 years of use (8-900hrs/year), garmin sent me back a new one (they don't refub, they send out new units) but since then I got an 800.

How does it compare with the 800? Is it true that the functionality is the same, the 705 just doesn't have touchscreen? And I think the battery lasts longer on the 800? How easy are the screens to read e.g. in bright sunlight? Thanks, Paul

It is a bit bigger than the 800. Screen visability is fine in both units (I have never had an issue). Functionality is the same - 705 allows you to wirelessly share rides etc... with other 705s (800 does not) - I seldom used this feature though.

Sometimes using the 800 I wish I had buttons (when gloves are on) - this will be my first winter with an 800 so I'll soon see.

Didn't notice any battery difference between the 705 and 800.
