Hi guys. Im having a mind boggling problem with the installation of an MOE grip. As soon as I screw the end plate in after re installing the motor, the motor fails to work upon pressing the trigger. Screw the end plate off and press the trigger and the motor works without a problem. Screw the end plate back in and the aeg is dead again. I cant figure out what is going on. I though I may be disconnecting a wire when screwing the end plate on but Ive tried carefully and Im 100% sure thats not whats happening. Im sure Im doing something really dumb. Anyone have any ideas???

Did You mix the cables up? Not insulting your intelligence or anything by saying that :), Take out the motor connect up it externally, pull the trigger and see if she turns, just to rule out a dodgy motor or a blown fuse.

There is a little brass nut that adjusts your motor height, if its too tight you will hear a horrible grinding noise, too loose just sounds wrong, you have to fine tune it to get it right which is easy to tell.

I installed an MOE on my KWA and had to do a lot of filing of the base plate mount to get the motor to sit in properly which was the problem with mine when I installed my MOE, this could be it.

Wires are connected correctly. Its the oddest thing. If I unscrew the baseplate and hold the motor in place and pull the trigger it fires. If I then screw on the baseplate and pull the trigger nothing happens. If I hold the baseplate in place it fires. Its as soon as I screw it in that the problem occurs. It has me perplexed
