    Hi all

I did the marathon on Monday - have done a few and an Ironman in the past so not total newbie. However I've usually taken a good break after each event. This time I'm eager to do the Clonakilty one, 8th December, so only 6 weeks away. How do I go about training for this? If I take it easy for a few weeks I'll be only starting to train again by the time I should be tapering for the next - if that makes sense? Can anyone recommend a training plan - either their own or online?

    Thanks

P&D have a few quickie turn around marathon plans. Their 6 week gap one has an easy week after the 1st but then it starts to ramp up for the next 3 or 4.

Thanks! Are these plans online anywhere - looked at Pfitzinger's website and no sign - or only in the book? Can't find when googling...

When I've got 15 minutes I'll type the basics (if that's allowed here)

Got this link below from one of the guys on here.
    Exactly what you're looking for...
Hope you realize that Clonakilty wouldn't be a course to
try and get a PB ?

Oh I know it's not one for a PB - just have an irrational hankering to do another one this year :) Thanks for that link, I had already had a look at it and reckon I'm good for it, although still have sore calf since Monday and tried a short run yesterday and it wasn't a good idea.

Have ordered the P&D book so looking forward to that, thanks both of you!
