Rads not getting hot.

    How are ye lads.

First winter in a new place and we put some kerosene into the tank a few weeks ago but when we turn the boiler on the rads aren't getting very hot.

They get warmish but not hot. The water doesn't really heat up either, again, it gets warm but that's it.

The stat was set lowish so I turned it up to about 60/65 but it didn't make much for a difference.

Reckon it's worth getting onto the landlord and getting them to service the boiler and blanace the rads or is there something I can do to fix it myself?

Outside of bleeding the rads I'd get the landlord to get it sorted. Your spending money on fuel and getting no heat. It might need a stronger circulation pump, the system may need to be flushed down.
