"Women Only" advertisements - property

Just a short question relating to a property I saw for lease.

I am looking to rent an apartment in Dublin, and recently came across an advertisement which stipulated that the property was suitable for professional females only.

Although of course this doesn't negatively affect me personally, I am simply curious as to the legal standing of only accepting applications from one specific gender, in general terms.

My reading of Section 6 of the Equal Status Act, 2000 suggests to me that, as common sense might invite one to presuppose, such a condition is contrary to the legislation.

However, it would need to be established, pursuant to section 6 of the Act, that there is normally accommodation available for three households or more within the entire property. Is that correct?

    Thanks in advance.

Is it a whole property or just a room in a property?

it is a property within a property - a house subdivided into flats/ apartments.
