Dublin to Porto

Quick question.. Do Ryanair fly Dublin to Porto?

Their website is offering flights at E33, their route map says they do and yet it is not possible to book. Is it just that the website is not maintained?

    Thanks.

They used to fly to Porto but seem to have stopped. I see some flights available next March, haven't gone through all the weeks.

It's Oporto (OPO) airport, FC Porto is a football club.

A Ryanair flight landed today from Dublin (DUB)

    (FR) Ryanair 7072

Working back from the destination you may be able to source the flights.

perhaps the reason the OP and yourself didn't find flights immediately was because you were searching under 'Porto' instead of 'Oporto'.

Place names vary around the world, but UNESCO http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/755 and the Tourist Office http://www.gooporto.com/ 'Go Oporto' suggest that Oporto is a name used locally.

    Oporto/Porto
While there may be a recent trend to use 'Porto' more often, because of the success of the football club, easier branding for Port and reluctance on potential visitors to call the town Oporto. But during this difficult transitional period, maybe searches need to be done under more than one name.

Only one Porto (no Oporto) on the Ryanair site.

You can actually use either Porto or Oporto.

@LiamMc - that's really interesting. The website gives travel dates (all around now) that can be booked but it wont let me do it. It would be a million times wasier to go via Dublin than Stanstead but time is not on my side.
