    Copilot Polypus Tremolo.

As if the octopus theme weren't enough, it also has an LFO control with six different wave forms, a tap tempo button and is true bypass.

Made in the Dominican Republic. Qué bien.

It was either that or the CMAT Mods Tremoglo but the octopus swung it for me.

    Take a look.

I have a Copilot Android ring modulator, absolutely brilliant pedal.

Hand built by one guy for such a good price, if I remember correctly he'll always repair any faults for free, apart from if you just break the footswitch. I even emailed him a few months after buying it asking what kind of expression pedal to get if I wanted to use one to control the carrier frequency, he sent me a good email back explaining stuff and which ones work best. Great lad.

    Enjoy, and keep us updated!

Hmm. Just watched a video of the ring mod and it's looks very, very cool.

Can't wait to try this trem out.

    The Planetoid also looks great.

I'd never given much thought to ring mods before but they can really make some curious sounds.

Much maligned effects, but used just right, they can sound wonderful... Very easy to make them sound awful though. Clouds Taste Metallic by The Flaming Lips has some really great ring modulated guitar parts on it. Particularly the second verse of this tune:
