my sun sign is Capricorn, moon is in Aquarius and ascendant is Pisces
so do i have the characteristics of all these three? which one will be more of my actual behavioral sign?

Apparently someone will exhibit the respective sign traits at different times, but will always be whatever sun/star sign they are essentially. Supposedly the moon sign simply modifies the fundamental traits expressed by the sun sign. So, I would imagine that you're a more forward-thinking and intellectually-orientated type of Capricorn.

I've heard the ascendant deals with how someone tends to approach life, i.e. a new project, situation, etc., and that it is the personality strangers see when they first meet the person. It's like an unconscious persona.

To summarise (even though I'd take it all with a pinch of salt myself) in really simplistic terms, you'd probably first come across as soft and approachable (Pisces) to those who don't know you but, as they get to know you better, they realise you're less emotional and more organised, intellectual and rational (Capricorn and Aquarius).
