Putting stove in Kitchen - Using Bricks around it

I am putting in an Aisling Stanley Stove in my kitchen come Living Room.

I don't want to make it look like a fireplace around it, but I do want to add something to it.

I was thinking of placing the stove on large square flagstones/sandstones

I then wanted to build up someway around it with bricks but not sure what to go for....

I like the traditional/old look but would like to see some ideas before I go for something

Could anyone recommend anything I could go for? Thanks
