Student Broadband

    Hey, just wondering if anyone has any tips about broadband packages? I might be moving to Letterkenny soon and I'll need some form of broadband in the house, mainly for study purposes but also possibly for some online gaming and maybe streaming netflix and other media.

    I'd probably be looking for something reasonably priced that I could connect my Xbox, Laptop and possibly tablet to but it's unlikely I'd have the cash to pay over 20-30 a month. So I'm guessing I'd be looking for something along the lines of a wireless hub.

    What are the best deals on the market? Are all providers strict on usage allowance? Given that I might go over the limit from time to time? (We have an eircom bundle at the family home and I've never been charged for overusage, although I'm not sure if it's the same policy for their hub).

    Any help is much appreciated.

    You'd probably want to use Mi-Fi to allow a few of your Wi-Fi devices connect at the same time though (or to turn your laptop into a wireless access point).

    Netflix alone will quickly gobble up those bandwidth caps though!
