Today is a special day: it is the day in which I've broken my longest distance PB. After a good 7 or so hours in the saddle (the wind was ****ing awful on the way down, and I had to stop to heat up again and buy new gloves) I arrived home. Near as to make no difference 200km!

Hope everyone else is having as good a day! :D

I was out for just over two and a half hours to do 75Km, so you're doing a lot better than me. Never ridden 200 before myself, so kudos to you

A lot of fun. I would recommend it. Though one should rise earlier than I did. I think I left around 9:30 ... But it was pretty dark when I got back. That was kinda terrifying.

Well done! That's a nice old trek :) Did you take the old roads (old N7 and old road via Patrickswell) for most of it? Some nice hills coming out of NCW too!

Yes, I went N7, through the city, Raheen, N21 (or N22?) out to Patrickswell, Adare, etc.

When I went down those hills it was absolutely lashing with rain and the wind slowed me noticeably and rocked me from side to side, so I was just happy to keep it upright! :) Probably the hardest wind I've ever cycled against.
