    hi,

i am in transition year and i am doing my work experience in 4th class. we are visiting the cliffs of moher next week and the teacher would like me to make some questions to ask the class about them, going from easier to harder. has anyone got any ideas to help me out?

i am not sure what their abilities are at this age so if you can please recommend just 5 or 6 questions about anything to do with them it would help me a lot.

    tanks,
    Kelly Xx

Are those cows far away or are they small?

    What county are they in?
How tall are they? Im presuming the teacher would have done a bit about them before the trip.

With all due respect Kelly, it seems to me like you're just asking for other people to do your work for you.

You're doing *work* experience - that means you put in the work to get the experience. You do the research (i.e.: not internet chat forum research) to learn the general ability level of that age, you draft up a long list of questions to ask that covers all sorts of basis (in case your particular class is either above or below the average) and then you present your questions to the class. As you are actually interacting with the class you adjust your questions to suit the kids.

Hard work? Yes. Scary? Probably. But that is why it's called *work* experience.

    Hi Kelly,

I'd say just along the lines of:

How old do you think the cliffs are? (You could try to make this relevent by producing a kind of picture or event time line).
How were the cliffs created and what material or type or rock are they made of? (I'd say Basalt but you'll have to Google that one)
Have the cliffs changed in appearence since they were formed? (You could bring different types or wethering and erosion into this)
Do any animals use the cliffs as a habitat.
