I have recently applied to the institute for my CAP 1 exemptions. I have them all bar the law one ( I have C3, C1, B3 in the relevant subjects, 2.47 QCA acverage, 2.5 needed - I doubt they'll give it to me!!)

My question is can I enroll for the CAP 2 exams next year and take that CAP 1 exam with them - a friend told me he heard of it being done before - or am I just eligible to do that pesky CAP 1 exam only next Autumn?!

Fingers crossed they give me the exemption. My guess is they wont.

ASAIK you can do the Law paper with the first module of CAP 2 - ie the first two subjects.

    Hiya.

I was missing that exemption when i started the process too. You could sit the law exam as an external student in either May or September and if you pass that you would be eligible to do all four CAP2s together.

I finished college in May and sat the law exam in September and am now doing all 4 CAP2s this year.

    Hope this helps.
