Transfer of Shares- retain voting rights?

Is it possible to transfer shares from one spouse to another but retain voting rights? 'We' (husband & wife) invested in shares in his company. They were put in his name. We are now separating & would like to split them, however he does not want to dilute his ownership & voting within the company. I am thinking some sort of legal document could suffice? Any advice welcome.

It can be done with some sort of trust agreement, but you really need to get proper legal advice.

The normal way for this situation to be dealt with in the event of a marital separation/divorce is that the ownership of the shares is signed over under the normal division of all assets as per standard legal separation/divorce procedures.
