Mynute 14se overheating water

    Hi,

    Need some advice.

My boiler is keeping the water very hot.

The electric switch for the boiler is off & it is exclusively heated by the mynute 14se which is on for 4 hours each day.

The manual does not explain what the knob with a hand (see photo) and thermometer does & which way is what.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

If the control panel looks like this ( a different mynute ) ,

the second dial form left is the thermostat control

You should have both of these already

user manual - how to set the (optional) clock mostly

service manual - dial settings might be buried in there somewhere

This know, controls both radiator and hot water temperature coming from the boiler, look in your hot press, there maybe a therostat there for your hot water

    Thanks for the replies!

I've figured out the thermometer, and how to set the dial, but it eludes me what the knob with the thermometer and hand on it does. The model number is accurate, and the user manual provides absolutely no information on this.

the box itself doesn't indicate where the knob starts and where the maximum for the dial is.

    thanks!

that pis is the 'overheat' thermostat button, there is a button under it (it screws off) but it is only there if the main thermostat fails or pump fails, locks the boiler out for safety, no need for you to go near it

Sorry should have looked at your attached pic first time
