The company you're ordering from is supposed to sort things out with Irish Revenue. If they don't, the delivery could be stopped but TBH I don't think it's very likely.

Why not try an Irish supplier? I don't see any on the DrinkStore or Beer Club websites but I've definitely seen a couple from Banks in their shops. Could be worth giving them a ring.

Edit: Sorry, just noticed it's an American company. Different rules, then: the parcel is much more likely to be stopped if it's outside the EU. Though there's no guarantee it will be. And I'm presuming its Banks of Barbados rather than Wolverhampton you're after, so disregard the above.

Good luck, but it won't taste anything like it did in Barbados.

Thanks Beernut. Yes it Banks of Barbados I'm looking for. I have cravings for it since I was on holidays there in September.

McHughs on the malahide road sell Banks. I got some the other day. It was rubbish.

I'm guessing that's the Brummie rather than the Barbados one, though.

No it was definetly Barbados. It was Caribbean lager.
