My insurance is up in November. I was just wondering what company would be the best to go with and getting the best deal. I have 6 years no claims discount which I say with most company's that wouldn't be much of a discount

    Thanks in advance for advice

I'd go with an Insurance company. They generally give the best cover.

How many have you rang so far?

    Go to a broker then.

Or accept that your renewal is bang on in terms of the market.

Will until December, I was wondering if the OP was female and getting hit with the equality rules as their renewal is in November.

In fairness and something you may not know, but 5 years NCB is pretty much the maximum discount you can get for insurance so I'm not surprised it's not that different than last year.

Out of curousity what car, what size engine, and what age are you?

I got best deal from AA. They are cheaper than others but their comprehensive policy does not cover road assistance. If you do not need that it is worth to try.

I know that. My insurance went up €80 from last year which I didn't even put a claim in

I change insurance company almost every year. Haggle like hell with them. I always pay substantially less than I'm initially quoted. Go with whoever offers the best value.
