    Guys
Is there anyone in the Clondalkin/Lucan/Citywest area with a BT or any sort of obd2 reader who has 5 minutes to spare over the next few days and could pull a code for me as my own reader has gone bananas!

Drop me a pm if you can lend a hand & i'll return the favour with a nice set of led sidelight bulbs :)

    Thanks Paul,

Its for a Toyota, I don't need a loan of a unit just a plug in and grab the code. I was adjusting the alternator belt and it threw an engine check light afterwards. knocked ignition off and back on and it came on and went off as usual.

I disconnected the battery but tonight I jumped into the car and it stead on again, knocked ignition of then back on and it went off as usual so I'm scratching the head at the minute.

Might try pulling the ecu backup fuse in the morning and see if that does the trick first
