No satellite signal

Switched on the tv this evening and got a 'your sky +hd box isn't getting a satellite signal' but only for terrestrial channels... RTE, TV3, TG4, BBC And ITV. All other channels including Sky Sports and Movies are working fine. Switched off everything but still the same.

Rang Sky- tried a few things including downloading software. Still the same.
I have a blue card which I used to get ITV so put that in, powered off the box, powered it back on and I get the same error with BBC and ITV

I have another hd box which hasn't been upgraded to the new epg. Same problem!

Sky offered to send an engineer which I declined.

    Any ideas ?

    Sounds like a faulty LNB.

Can you receive the Disney channels?

It seems that you can't receive any channels in the LO band which would confirm a problem with the LNB.

Thanks for that - I'll get that checked
