If you can remember exactly the direction it was pointing and elevation etc. then your grand! Otherwise you need one of those satellite finders, they're cheap enough i think. Your caps is on by the way!

Very awkward cuz you would have to keep going in and out to check, unless you can see the tv from where you have the satellite or have somebody shout out the window. It shoud show the signal strenght on the tv though. (in the menu somewhere)

I'm pretty sure you will need an expert.

You would need sheer luck if u were to move it back and forth especially with a sky box,....as some need to be reset when locked on to receive a signal....u mite only be a few cm's off but could take u all day to fix...

Bit late, but if you have only moved the dish left or right then get the signal strength menu up on screen and move it back 1cm at a time till you get something. Note you may not be on the same satellite so may take a while.

Check for old markings / alignment of neighbours dishes first.

use www.satpointer.com / www.dishpointer.com to get your bearings

If you moved the dish left/right AND changed the up/down angle it's a lot more difficult and you'd probably need a sat finder box the makes noises 'n stuff.
