What do ye think of this? Value for money etc...
Way over the top in my opinion, might suit some of the Celtic cubs(well those with money left). Sure you can play the Smurfit course in an open for 50e and get a burger after your round included, as for the Palmer there are teetimes often available for 70e so for 4 rounds with one on the Smurfit adds up to 260e. Way cheaper than paying upfront for the four of them together.

Have never played either of the K Club courses and this certainly wouldn't entice me, poor value for money and as such I will be keeping my distance.

I think we should call our Boards outings "Gatherings" next year, it seems the thing to do doesn't it.

What a load of BS this Gathering craic is!

Good to see the K Club getting behind it though, we really want to send out the message that Ireland is an affordable place to visit!

I don't think we're the target market tbh.. Its fat Americans with more money than sense they're after.

I played both courses this year €50 including full Irish breakfast for the Smurfit and €60 including full Irish breakfast for the Palmer. They are looking for €475 for golf only. Two rounds on each course would be €220 for golf, so €255 for the gala dinner. No value for me. I will give it a pass.

Wow that's a rip off. Can't imagine they'll get too many takers.

I saw an offer on e-mail about 2 days ago - £105 for a night's B&B in the K Club and a round of each of the courses. That was good value. Just a shame I don't have £105!

Will probably be a reunion of politicans, developers, speculators and the rest of their cronies that bankrupt this country.
Ah sure its not expensive at all, just let the taxpayer pick up the tab...

I got it by e-mail (link below). I just read the fine print and it's for a minimum of 12 people and it's for Sunday - Thursday. They have a minimum of 4 people one for £129, so if you had a 4-ball who were able to take a Monday off it's a great deal.
